Victor Petenkemani

Mr. Victor Petenkemani is a founding executive member of the Pan-African Higher Education Initiative Foundation (PAHEi). The organization benefits from his unique experience at top tier U.S. higher education institutions and finance roles at Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Petenkemani presently serves both as the Associate Dean of the Mercy College School of Business and as a full-time Assistant Professor at Mercy College School of Business where he teaches economics, international business, and corporate finance courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Mr. Petenkemani immigrated to the United States of America from France in 1999.
Prior to Mercy, Mr. Petenkemani held business strategy and finance roles at Fortune 500 companies, primarily in France and the United States. In addition to this corporate experience at Delta Air Lines (transportation, Atlanta GA – USA), Houlihan Lokey (Distressed Investment Banking, New-York, NY – USA), BlackRock (Investment Research and Analysis, Princeton NJ – USA), Caisse Des Dépôts et Consignation (Back-Office Analyst, Paris, France).
Mr. Petenkemani research interests encompass asset pricing and impact investing, with a focus on ESG factors and risk management. Mr. Petenkemani was engaged in various business development initiatives in several frontier markets. Mr. Petenkemani is an entrepreneur, an investor and an advisor who seek to help business ventures reach their goals.
Mr. Petenkemani holds an MBA in Finance at the Wharton School and a MA in International Studies at the Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Petenkemani is a graduate of Université du Maine (Le Mans, France) where he earned a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Mr. Victor is fluent in English, French, and Spanish. He currently lives in New York, with his family.
